A Customised Approach to Rolfing® S.I.
You are always welcome to try a single Rolfing® session without any expectation of continued sessions. While some people experience significant benefits from just one Rolfing Structural Integration session, most of the lasting change is accomplished through a series of three to thirteen appointments. The most common, most tested, and most reliable approach is the Ten Series, which is always customized to the structural needs of the the individual client.
That being said, I truly enjoy developing a customized series to fit the goals of my clients. We work together to understand how the the pain and limitations in one part of the body relate to the organization of the whole body. I let my clients know what I see and what I recommend, and we decide together how thoroughly to address their concerns.
It is important for clients to discuss their individual situations, goals, time-frames and limitations with their prospective Rolfer™, so that a plan can be formed that works best for the client. Once you commit to a Rolfing series, it is advised that you complete it. Rolfing Structural Integration is a process of reorganizing the body that needs closure. Not completing the Ten Series can sometimes leave a client feeling less coordinated than before the start of the series.
